We are searching for a talented Sales Manager to join a leading blockchain data provider in charge of starting and launching the sales function from scratch.
The company:
A leading blockchain data provider with a set of software products that parse, index, and store blockchain data in a unified way. Today we process over 1 Petabyte of data and end-to-end infra in-house. We also serve governments worldwide. Our aim is to become the most prominent data company in crypto.
Responsibilities:
Develop and refine sales processes, methodologies, and workflows to maximize efficiency, streamline operations, and accelerate sales cycles.
Use Hubspot to enable accurate forecasting, and drive pipeline visibility.
Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of qualified leads, optimize lead routing processes, and provide feedback on lead quality and conversion rates.
Develop and maintain comprehensive sales analytics and reporting frameworks to track performance, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives in the Bitcoin and financial markets.
Provide regular reports and insights to the CEO, marketing team, and executive leadership, highlighting key metrics, performance indicators, and actionable recommendations.
Conduct deep-dive sales data analysis to identify patterns, customer behaviour insights, and opportunities for revenue optimisation.
Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, facilitating effective communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Pitch and draft proposals for higher-tier clients
Work with marketing iteratively to develop sales enablement materials
Develop a sales playbook and any required materials to support the sales team
Co-develop OKRs for the sales function and KPIs for the team
Effectively managing a team of 3 to 5 sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and ongoing coaching to maximize their performance and professional development.
Developing and executing effective inbound and outbound strategies to penetrate new markets, driving customer acquisition, and increasing market share.
Leading negotiations and closing deals with key partners.
Continuously enhancing the sales team’s skills and knowledge through training programs, coaching, and professional development initiatives.
Fostering a positive and collaborative sales culture, encouraging teamwork, sharing of best practices, and knowledge exchange among team members and other teams such as compliance, marketing, product and legal.
Requirements:
Proficiency in using CRM software, forecasting, and opportunity management
Knowledge and passion for the crypto/blockchain industry
2-4 years experience with inbound, outbound, and client-facing sales positioning SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS offerings
Skilled in prospecting techniques
A technical or educational background in engineering, computer science, or MIS
Ability to operate independently and proactively to source and progress new business
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
Capable of understanding customer pain points, and requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by technical services
Experience managing numerous requests and time demands concurrently
Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
