Quadrant, a global leader in mobile location data and compliance services, is seeking a Field Data Collector to join our team. As a Field Data Collector, you will be responsible for collecting and verifying Point-of-Interest (POI) data like restaurants, retail stores, and convenience stores using our proprietary platform, Geolancer. The data you collect will be used by the biggest companies in the world in geospatial intelligence, mapping, food delivery, ride-sharing, and more. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of Geolancers in half a dozen regions across Asia, while being rewarded with cryptocurrency for each POI you collect.
Responsibilities
Conduct fieldwork using a smartphone and our proprietary Geolancer platform
Collect and verify POI data including coordinates, name, opening hours, and photos
Adhere to strict quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data
Use innovative techniques and strategies to locate hard-to-find POIs
Maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of Geolancers
Regularly communicate with the Quadrant team to provide updates on progress and any issues encountered
Keep up to date with industry trends and new technology to continuously improve collection processes
Requirements
Willingness to travel and work in rural and urban areas
Experience working with smartphones and mobile apps
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
