Outlier Ventures is the largest Web 3 accelerator in the world. Founded in 2014, it works with startups at various stages of their lifecycle from pre-seed / seed (via Base Camp) to later stage about to launch (or live) token networks specialising in a New Data Economy, NFTs, and DeFi bringing together a network of 1,000 ‘s of the world’s leading web 3 founders, protocols, VCs to mentor, and invest.

About the role

Outlier Ventures is looking for an Events Associate to support our Head of Events. In particular overseeing the operational side of our event calendar. This is an opportunity for an ambitious marketer with an interest in the metaverse and Web 3.0 technologies to have their work associated with the leading metaverse accelerator.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Represent OV at strategically selected:Community Driven Events
OV organised Events
3rd Party Events
Events External Outreach and CommunicationsIncoming 3rd Party Inquiries
Logistics (Venue, Catering, Printing, etc)
Guests (Speakers, investors, VIPs)
Audience

Events Internal Coordination and CommunicationsOV Team / OV Members
Startups
Partners
Events Support

We are looking for someone who:

Strong communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and problem solve
Self-motivation and initiative
Time management and planning
High level of organisation & great attention to detail
A familiarity with the crypto/Web 3.0 space and/or a demonstrable ability to learn new topics.
Confidence to listen to and/or read a brief and ask questions sufficiently to then work independently to complete tasks.
Package

Package is subject to relevant experience. It will bias towards performance-related bonuses, including the opportunity to invest directly into token projects on the same terms as the Outlier Ventures partnership
