Position: Full Stack Developer

We are currently working with our client, a multinational media and entertainment company that specializes in streaming and distributing digital content across various platforms, to urgently hire a Fullstack Developer with expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, NodeJS, Linux shell, Sockets, GitLab, and cloud architecture. Our client is known for its commitment to delivering high-quality and engaging entertainment experiences, utilizing advanced streaming technologies and innovative content creation strategies.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and provide technical solutions
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, NodeJS, and Linux shell
Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, suggesting innovative ideas to improve development processes and practices
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience
Contribute to the development of blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, and crypto-related projects
Work on metaverse and game development projects, including mixed reality development when required
Requirements
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Must be able to work in the GMT time zone for meetings, work is predominantly remote (prefer candidates from Europe or South Africa)
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in full stack development
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, NodeJS, Linux shell, FFMPEG, GCP, WebRTC, and cloud architecture
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, and crypto development
Familiarity with metaverse and game development, including mixed reality
Knowledge of CX, UI, and UX best practices to create seamless user experiences
