The company is headquartered in Kansas City, MO; however, true to the ethos of the crypto culture in which we operate, our team is fully distributed with teammates in Austin, St. Louis, Portland, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Zagreb, and more.
The Opportunity
CoinLedger’s mission is to enable seamless tax reporting for all crypto investors—no matter how complex their transaction history. To help achieve this, we are looking to add a highly technical software engineer who is familiar with the cryptocurrency space to our fast-paced integrations team.
You will have enormous responsibility in this role, as our integrations team forms the backbone of our company. The integrations you work on will enable hundreds of thousands of crypto investors of all types to seamlessly import their transaction data from crypto exchanges, wallets, public blockchains, and DeFi protocols.
You will be joining a fast-paced startup and contributing to one of the most important pieces of infrastructure for the future of the cryptocurrency industry.

What You’ll Do
Consume REST APIs from centralized crypto exchanges
Consume transaction history files generated by crypto exchanges
Consume raw transaction data from public blockchains and DeFi protocols
Create and improve data pipelines to normalize raw transaction data into our transaction model
Collaborate with our support team to improve integration reliability
Collaborate with our web app team to create monitoring systems that improve time to update integrations as crypto exchanges make breaking changes
Introduce tools and best practices to accelerate our development process
What You Need To Succeed
3+ years of backend development experience using C#
Understanding of data structures and problem solving approaches and ability to articulate trade offs
Strong understanding of edge case analysis and unit testing
Strong understanding of SOLID principles
Comfortable with tackling ambiguous problems and unblocking yourself from issues such as:
Working through poor API documentation from crypto exchanges
Working through poorly structured transaction history files
Strong desire to mentor and assist other integration engineers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
