What you’ll do

Associate Director/Director of Affiliates, Acquisitions, and Influencer Marketing is responsible for managing and executing affiliate marketing programs, identifying and acquiring strategic partnerships, and leveraging influencers to promote and grow an organization’s brand and products. This role involves developing and implementing effective strategies to drive affiliate sales, secure strategic partnerships, and maximize the impact of influencer collaborations.
Key responsibilities of the Assistant Director/Director include:
Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive and cost effective marketing strategies for performance marketing, affiliate programs, influencer and collaborations to acquire and retain high quality users at scale.
Affiliate Marketing Management: Develop and execute affiliate marketing strategies to drive traffic, increase sales, and expand the organization’s customer base. Identify potential affiliate partners, negotiate partnerships, and manage relationships to ensure alignment with brand objectives and optimize performance.
Partnership Acquisitions: Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with other organizations that align with the brand’s target audience and objectives. Conduct market research, analyze potential partners, negotiate terms, and develop partnership agreements to drive mutual growth and achieve business goals.
Influencer Marketing: Develop and implement influencer marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with target audiences, and drive conversions. Identify and cultivate relationships with relevant influencers, negotiate partnerships, and collaborate on content creation and promotion.
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for affiliate marketing, partnership acquisitions, and influencer marketing initiatives. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and monitor spending to maximize return on investment.
Performance Measurement and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness and ROI of affiliate marketing, partnership acquisitions, and influencer marketing efforts. Analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing campaigns and achieving desired outcomes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as brand marketing, creative, product, content, and analytics to align marketing initiatives, leverage synergies, and deliver integrated campaigns that incorporate performance, affiliate and influencer.
Industry and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of marketing professionals, fostering their development and ensuring successful execution of marketing strategies. Lead team OKRs – deliver results by setting goals and achieving impact at scale.

 

What you’ll bring

9 to 11 years of demonstrated success in performance marketing, affiliate management and influencer marketing, preferably a lead role, with experience of running customer acquisition/retention campaigns for leading Fintech and/or Consumer Internet organizations in India.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, performance metrics, affiliate networks and influencer marketing platforms.
Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans, identify growth opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing external partnerships, and fostering strong relationships across functions.
Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with data, and experience in interpreting performance metrics, affiliate data and influencer metrics.
Ability to capitalize market & consumer trends via data, research and experimentation.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, provide clear direction, and effectively manage resources.
Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapt quickly to changes, and demonstrate resilience and agility in decision-making.
Fluency in communication and clarity in articulation.
