The team

Join our Accounting team and help shape the future of crypto and technology! Our accounting team plays a pivotal role at Kraken – we are an agile globally distributed team of accountants and hard-working crypto enthusiasts who are shaping the future of crypto accounting.

This role is fully remote.

The opportunity

Lead global revenue cycle by providing strategic leadership to the revenue team
Change existing manual processes into automated workflows consistently applied throughout organization
Improve timeliness and accuracy of the revenue close cycle
Work closely with external auditors on revenue related issues
Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations in all jurisdiction we operate
Work cross functionally with product, engineering, tax and legal teams on all new product initiatives
Partner with data and engineering teams to enforce and monitor data hygiene across platforms and systems

Skills You Should HODL

15+ years of experience in accounting with at least 5 in a Senior Management position
5+ years of experience at a fintech or financial services organization
Exceptional technical accounting knowledge
High level of technical expertise and knowledge
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and the ability to simply complex concepts to facilitate broader organizational understanding
Ability to work independently across multiple groups in a rapidly changing environment
Passion or intellectual curiosity for the crypto landscape
Inspiring leader with a strong focus on team inclusion, engagement and developmentExcellent communicator with outstanding verbal and written communication
