The Opportunity

As a Senior Back End Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our back-end systems. You will have the opportunity to work on unique, engaging projects, partner with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the growth and success of Team Liquid and Esports.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient back-end solutions
Build and maintain microservices architecture for our high-traffic applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
Partner with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
Plan new and refactor existing essential microservices for a sustainable future
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of back-end systems to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement and innovation
What You’ll Need
4+ years of experience working with modern back-end language with at least 2 years of experience with node js
1+ years of experience as a senior developer
Experience with microservices architecture in a professional setting with a large user base
Fluent in English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You’ll Earn Bonus Points If You Have
Experience working with Nest js, Docker, and the blockchain/crypto space
Experience using Kafka
Experience using & setting up Gitlab CI/CD infrastructure
Experience with MySQL, Mongo DB
An interest in gaining deeper insights into the gaming and esports space
